The team was encouraging, knowledgeable, collaborative, and most importantly, fun to work with. Any writer looking to get involved with this group can not only trust their services, but also look forward to the process from first draft to launch. I loved working with Orange Hat Publishing! They supported me throughout the entire process from editing to illustrations and helped me understand the marketing process, so I knew how to begin marketing my book once it was ready to be released. It is a very professional business with a very friendly, personal feel!

A wonderful independent and local publishing company that makes their authors feel like family. Shannon and her team have been wonderful to work with, from the submission process to explaining the contract options. They answered my (many) questions as a first time author. The final book print is very high quality, something I am proud to display. At my launch party, I received so many compliments on how well organized and professional the team was. They are all wonderful and kind to work with. Thank you Orange Hat!

Orange Hat Publishing cares for their clients. I felt supported, encouraged, and was given tools to be successful. They helped launch my opening, and suggested clients for me to serve. I loved the care and attention to detail. When I need guidance they are only an email away.

Orange Hat has done a great job on my memoir, Lee: The Tragic Story of a Family Broken by Schizophrenia. Everything from cover design to the tedious process of proofing the interior of the book has been wonderful. The staff has been responsive and cooperative no matter my concern or problem. I would highly recommend this company, especially for authors who are new to the industry and need more personalized direction and help.

I can't say enough about the friendly, welcoming, accepting, and professional aura that permeates the entire building and staff! Everyone I worked or met with was outstanding in their skill set. Owner Shannon Ishizaki was particularly encouraging and knowledgeable, navigating me through my first publishing experience. I'd never work with anyone else. It's a first class organization run by first class people. If you wanna get published, Orange Hat is your answer!

I have worked with many writers (self-published, hybrid published, and traditionally published) who have benefitted from Ten16's professionalism, creativity, and amazing author support. What a fantastic team. Their books are beautiful, well-edited, and top quality. I would trust them with my own projects and enthusiastically recommend them to other writers who want to share their work with a wider audience. My highest recommendation!

Ten16 Press (the imprint of Orange Hat Publishing that produces adult books) has been 100% supportive of my efforts to get my debut novel, Truth and Other Lies, out into the marketplace. My emails get a response within a day, phone calls get returned, and my ideas are thoughtfully listened to. From my cover design by the great Kaeley to the editorial comments and suggestions of Lauren to the rah-rah spirit of Shannon, it's a great team. And now with the addition of Pam Parker as another editor, I can see nothing but good things ahead for this small press.
