We are writing this in support for 1st Choice Legal assistance and more specifically Cheryl Garey proprietor of this business.

1st of all we have been in the family court process for 6 years and have had many multiple attorneys representing us. Attorney's do not write Trial or Hearing Briefs anywhere near what the actual people they are representing them can-they can't-they don't live it-we do.

Cheryl is not an attorney; she writes up what her clients want and processes for the court documents-the Clients write them as they should and again, we live our experiences not attorneys who for the most part juggle clients and exist to rack up fees.

We CANNOT thank Cheryl enough for her caring, prompt services as we navigate a complicated legal system not designed for the people-but for the attorneys.

We have a unique experience with an Autistic child and Cheryl has been with us these last weeks and months helping us tremendously. We would recommend her to anyone and everyone and thank her for her professional services in the highest regard.

Paid $825 she made a a few inquires which l had already done one myself and got me nothing. Said she could do more for 3 to 5 thousand but no guarantees!

What you are saying below is not true! I told you I didn’t have a case number and you kept asking me if I had a case number after that and if I had one you could help me. Guess what if I had one I wouldn’t have needed you. I told you the attorney was Robert Bienvenu (who had passed away). And when you say “country” I assume you mean county which I told you I born and raised in Modesto and it happened in Modesto!

Please do not spend your money with this business. We hired her for a child custody case, we paid over $3200 for her "services". We sent her all of the requested information and instead of compiling it and rewriting it in a professional manner as we expected, she copied and pasted our emails into the document. We had to rewrite the document for her and when it was submitted to the courty, it was promptly entirely denied. In addition, at our first meeting, she stated that she didn't know much about grandparent's rights and would look into it. When we met with an actual attorney, she told us that grandparent's rights are nearly impossible to get these days. We called Cheryl back and now she says that she helped a granparent win custody of children over the natual parents. Which is it The two stories are completely opposite and one of them isn't true...It may sound tempting to use her because you think you are saving money but the reality is that we paid her $3200 and then had to pay an attorney $4000 to fix the mess that she created. I’m so glad I found this Golden Egg / Miracle Gem. I would have spent way too much hiring a private lawyer to help me with a civil restraining order.
