Absolute waste of time. Promised not kept. They're a group of "lawyers" that can't make it at a professional level. They make promises the can't keep. You get what you pay for here. Absolute joke!

A I have to say is 'the gentleman listened to my concerns, however, they did nothing to help. I kind of knew what the outcome would be, and they took the side of the owner. Anyone reading this should keep in mind that the lease you sign, is only good for the manager you signed with. A change in managers means A new lease for new tenants, with different or updated rules, the prior tenants get no notice. So violations from the new leases can effect you without your knowledge. I really don't know why CRLA even exists, they are useless to tenants. since the money comes from those who have, and those who don't get the shaft.

We really needed help with an unlawful "eviction" where the police unlawfully pulled us out of the house as I tried to hand them my contract. I needed help.. Real help... They turned me away stating that since i wasnt on sec 8 they could not help. This place is descriminitory in itself.

Useless. They make a lot of promises to help you , and then drop the ball. Amatuerish. Receptionist is rude and dismissive. They claim they want volunteers. I offered my services numerous times. I have an AS Degree in paralegalisim and am certified through Chico State University. I worked at Legal Assistance of Northern CA. and Senior Legal Assistance in Shasta County. They obviously don't want help. I have extensive experience with landlord tenant law.
They seem more interested in in LBGTQ and immigrant help. That's good, I believe in that, but there is a huge need for help with evictions and restraining orders in this city. Don't understand. There is one attorney and one intern working in the office. Just don't get it, sorry.

Because we don't live in a trailer park, and are not in hud housing we were told we don't qualify for any help. And good luck. Wow you really do have to be homeless to get any assistance.

Becky is the impressional piece of this office. She doesn’t know how to keep her personal emotions from certain situations. She takes things to the extreme and starts yelling if she doesn’t agree with your questions
