They didn't scam me, they just have terrible service. The first draft of my book I sent to them they just ran in through SpinBot and sent it back to me. Mine is a technical book with specific terminology. They made it sound terrible. After I convinced them they would have to do better they did get better about editing. But come on - SpinBot for a professional editing tool?
After that they tried to charge me $1,499 for an ISBN. You can easily find them online for $250. And if you publish through Amazon they provide you with an ISBN for free. This company is terrible - do no use them under any circumstance. And they are still calling me a year later, they left a voicemail for me today.

They will not stop call, texting or emailing me after I've expressed not being interested in any of their services SEVERAL TIMES. I cannot remember ever signing up to be contacted, so it's bad bad bad marketing practices to continue to reach out to me.

I was very happy with their services and the patience they had while working through the editing of my book and the book cover. I know at the end of the project due to Christmas it may have felt a bit rushed. But, overall I'm happy to have chosen them to get my book published. Thank you for helping me publish my book. This is a scam. I have reported them to the BBB, and called my credit card to reverse the charges. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The books on this site, the writers they say are on staff and all the publishers they purport to work with are all fraudulent misrepresentations to induce you into a contract with them. They have produced nothing, have no writers, and do not exist but on the internet. BUYER BEWARE. THEY ARE A SCAM!

It seems more and more typical that companies are scamming, or spamming you through text. In this case, Alex De'Souza sent me a text I replied. I got more texts from him and expressed I wasn't interested. A few hours later, I got a call from someone from Ghostwriting Venture. I said I had already responded to their text and told whomever I was texting (Alex) I wasn't interested. The guy on the phone pawned it off like his marketing department was running the texts. Let's be honest these jokers don't have a marketing department. They might have a small desk and a phone over there on 201 S. Orange Street, but not much more. I told the magic phone man that he might want to check with the "marketing dept" about what was said before he and I continued further. He pretty much kept talking over me and then, in what I can only assume was a threat, said, "you know this is a recorded line." My reply was "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnd". His reply "I'm going to forward this call to our legal department." I LOL'd hard, and he hung up.
