I am SO happy with my resume now. Carmel was just great to work with. She talked with me on the phone and in emails, answering all my questions and doing several iterations of my resume until I was happy with it. Though I work as a writer, writing my own resume felt like a horrible chore, and I had the hardest time getting motivated. Enter Carmel! She kept gently moving the process along, turning my jumbled notes into beautiful, accurate resume prose. She improved the formatting and now it looks clean and modern. She answered a lot of questions I have had for the longest time about how resumes are vetted by HR, and what should and shouldn't go in them. I feel much more confident and ready for my job search now that I have a glistening resume to work with. Great investment, well worth it!!!

My journey with Carmel started over a year and a half ago when she helped my daughter with her resume as my daughter just graduated from college and needed a resume. My daugther's experience with Carmel as well as the final output, her resume was impressive and I was thoroughly happy with the outcome.

Fast forward to March 2020, I contacted Carmel for help in updating my resume. She first started by reviewing my current resume. Over the course of a week or so, I had the makings of a good first draft. Then CoVid hit, work became very busy and I put updating my resume on the back burner.

In October 2020, I decided that I should get the project closed so reconnected with Carmel. I updated my resume with my current job function and we worked on the drafts. If you have a particular job that you are going after, she will ask for that job description. Also, she will ask you to fill out an Area of Focus which she will go through the job description and ask you questions. She will take your answers and incorporate them into your resume. Overall, the process in October took a couple of days and I couldn't have been happier with the results. My resume is crisp, highlights key actions as well as getting it down to 2 pages was amazing.
