From Dr. Stan McDaniel: My book was recently published by Wipf and Stock. While the process from contract to publication was long and grueling, I have only highest praise for the staff of this publisher. Highly recommended!

I am a published author with publishing company Wipf and Stock.
As an author, I have not had a good experience with this publishing company and can testify first hand as one of their authors that this company is irresponsible, has incompetent employees working for this company, and this company is unprofessional in its business practices.

The reason why I gave Wipf and Stock such a low rating is for the following reasons and negative experiences with them as one of their published authors.

First of all, in the printing of my book, there were sloppy ink dots scattered on several pages, and when I asked for those copies of my book to be reprinted with no charge, my request was initially denied.

To add insult to injury, Matt Wimer of Wipf and Stock sent an insulting and disrespectful email to CEO Jim Tedrick badmouthing me behind my back and I found out about this when by accident, I got the email instead.

Very unprofessional of Matt Wimer.

Next, I became aware, two and half years after my book was published in 2021 that Wipf and Stock failed to provide a basic service to me. Namely, Wipf and Stock forgot to upload my book in an ebook format to several vendors selling my book, and also failed to upload images of my book whereby the potential buyer could click on them.

These huge, egregious errors have affected my book sales.

I contacted Wipf and Stock several weeks ago and informed them of the problem, and was promised that this problem would be resolved in “five working days” but to date
the problem has not been corrected by Wipf and Stock employee Lindsey Leo.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Wipf and Stock as a publishing company.
