The college application seemed overwhelming.... So many colleges, so many applications, so many deadlines! Anne and Marian were phenomenal. They met with my daughter several times helping her pick the right schools that fit her interests and that she could potentially get into. They were always available to meet in person or chat on the phone or via e mail. They helped my daughter not only pick the schools to apply to, but also helped her coming up with essay ideas and edited her essays. Anne and Marian are passionate about colleges and they make the process manageable. We highly recommend them.

The college application process can be daunting for any parent. But I cannot tell you how wonderful the process has been with the help of Anne and Marian! Not only are they true professionals, but they really care about each student. We hired Navigatio when my daughter was a freshman in high school because she is a "nontraditional" student at a performing arts high school. We knew she was a special kid but didn't quite know which colleges would be best for her. In addition, I dreaded the process and knew all the urging and nagging would create a lot of added stress. Anne and Marian met with our daughter a few times a year and discussed her activities and even helped her decide which high school courses to take each year. But it's not until the end of Junior year and the beginning of Senior year that you really begin to appreciate Navigatio! They introduced her to different colleges and ultimately helped her narrow it down to 8 colleges. They walked her through the entire college application process from setting up her Common Application to brainstorming, writing, and rewriting all of her college essays. She was the first of all of her friends to turn in her applications. I never once had to nag my daughter and if I ever had any questions, I could always email Anne or Marian. In fact, I have to admit, hiring Navigatio was amazing for my daughter but it is equally wonderful for the parents. They received many frantic emails from me and were always there to answer back promptly and calmly. They are so reassuring! But best of all, my daughter applied early action to 3 colleges and was accepted to all 3 including her first choice! And she still has a number of colleges to hear back from next month. I could not be happier with the results. I'm so happy that I hired Navigatio to work with my son who is currently a Sophomore in high school. Navigatio takes the headache and stress out of the college application process and produces real results. Anne and Marian are truly the best at what they do!

Anne and Marian helped our daughter with her college selection and application, but (almost) more importantly they helped *me* navigate the whole process! They answered all of our many questions, gave invaluable information about the myriad of universities to choose from, and really spent time getting to know our daughter and helped her find her best options for college and then how to craft an application that accurately showcased her strengths and personality. Having Anne and Marian be the primary contacts with the long application process relieved untold stress in our household, and our daughter was prepared early with well-crafted essays, making her senior year less about applying to colleges and more about receiving happy admission news. Our daughter is now doing well in her freshman year at a great school that's a perfect fit for her. We are about to start the process all over again with our son and I'm really looking forward to it! Anne and Marian were instrumental in guiding our daughter in the daunting process of SATs and College essay submissions. With my wife and I both being working parents, we did not want the guilt of tripping up and missing deadlines. They were very methodical about getting a timeline together for our daughter to start her essays, all the way through to submission, while at the same time recommending schools that would compliment a our daughter's strengths. Our only regrets were that we didn't start the process earlier, as they can offer advice about high school classes that will compliment future goals as well. We have hired them again for our sophomore, so that we have more time to plan our approach. Please note, it does not absolve parents of being involved, but it does take a lot of the pressure off.

I hired Anne and Marion when my 16-year-old son made it clear that talking with me about college might not work for him. As a single parent I knew we could miss the window for getting into a great college and that it would be a shame for him. Additionally, my son had an eclectic resume with interesting and impressive features but none of them in the mainstream arena that a typical college will appreciate. Anne and Marian set up a regular meeting with my son over the course of 18 months or so, with a low-stress, fun and easy approach, creating a confident pathway forward for him. Now, he is totally on-track to graduate from his four-year college where he excels and has found a very interesting career to pursue. Not only that, he has completely aligned with travel abroad, something he would never have considered previously.

In addition to being an absolutely critical piece of my son's current success, Navigatio also provided a very clear and useful set of tools for me and my daughter, now a HS senior, to find her best college fit. Using Navigatio's comprehensive structure in her application process help her complete 12 applications; happily she has gotten into several excellent schools located across the country.
