My father had taken a writing course for first-time authors at a state college, and when it came time to publish his memoirs, he asked his professor if she could recommend a publisher. Mr. Sharp, with the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon, gently guided my father every step of the way through the entire publication process, from helping him edit the original MS Word draft, all the way through finished product, a book with which my father could not be more pleased nor proud. My first published book was written through an on-line only company and I didn't receive the personalized attention to detail as I was promised. I began writing my second story and I wanted to find a publisher who took a personal interest in my story line. I attended a book writer’s symposium in Florida and had the opportunity to meet a representative from Sea Hill Press. I briefly discussed my story line and made an appointment to meet with him at his office. He asked me to bring a sample of my manuscript upon my visit. He read it and encouraged me to continue writing and as they say…the rest is history! I immediately developed a business rapport with Greg and knew that Sea hill Press is the publishing company I wanted for my second book.
