EA Books has been my publisher since 2019 and together we have produced three books so far. Unlike some, this is one on-demand publisher that will NEVER deceive its authors. Cheri's people are gracious, diligent, knowledgeable, patient, talented, determined not only to provide the best product and service, but also coach and pray for their authors. The lady having breakfast across from me at a Florida Christian Writer conference said I should talk with Cheri Cowell, then, “Hey Cheri, I want you to meet someone.” Having published a scientific book with John Wiley and already used my signup time to meet with the traditional publishers at the conference, I obligingly agreed to meet with Cheri at another time to see the quality of the books she had helped self-publish. I was impressed, but still not interested. That changed overnight when I realized I might not have the time and energy to publish even the first volume of my trilogy on my parents’ courtship letters because of a medical mystery to be described in the final volume.

That was roughly a decade ago. In the interim, Cheri’s group took over the editing, formatting, registering, and submission requirements for printing of the first two volumes. I’ve spent hours on the phone with Bob Ousnmer in resolving my preferences on two book covers and a personal website. The number and specializations of Cheri’s staff have grown through the years. That their personal interest in your work remains the same came through quite clearly yesterday when Cheri called to answer my questions regarding their new interest in audio books.
