Love DSP! Everyone here is so kind, I have so many books from them, and credit Scott Robertson's How to Draw and other works for most of my foundational art knowledge! Their store is no longer open to the public since moving out of their old location during the pandemic, but I hope they open up again soon 🙂 Until then, you can buy books from them via their website or in person at the many conventions they attend. If you're a fan of sci fi, fantasy, or entertainment themed art, this is a go-to spot for some incredible art and design books. The shop of course carries Design Studio Press books, but also various film art books, instructional DVD's, and some art supplies. The staff is extremely friendly and love chatting about the various artists featured throughout the many books. They also have various upcoming events worth checking out.

Amazing selection of inspiration, techniques and tutorials. They also have some wonderfully designed children's books and games. The staff was very thoughtful and helpful with recommendations.
