It took one and a half of a second lesson for my child to RUN AWAY SCREAMING because he hates this with a passion and it's part of his school program!!!! I only have to mention its on his schedule (every. single. day.) and it's enough for him to shut his laptop off and back away in a panic with tears welling up in his eyes.

As an educator and devout believer in literacy and the impact it can have on a child’s future, MindPlay curriculum is an easy to follow, step-by-step guide to help promote reading even with your most reluctant readers. After spending some time with the program, I think it does a nice job of combining both directive phonics lessons and guided comprehension. Additionally, it’s easy to use, computer-based format allows you to have students work more independently and develop that self-efficacy we all strive to teach. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

After using a dyslexic curriculum to finally successfully teach my 4th grade daughter to decode and break apart multi-syllabic words, we could not increase her automaticity or speed well enough to increase fluency or comprehension. A friend suggested Mindplay, and it changed my daughter’s life. Once Mindplay increased her speed, she became an avid reader, and reading is still her favorite hobby at 16. Now she helps tutor young struggling children and can share her story of hopelessness to victory.

Don't waste your money. We had trouble getting started and contacted their support email address but they never got back to me. I am trying to cancel but the website says it's unable to edit the student to cancel the subscription. And now I've been charged because the free trial period is over.

I don't recommend this company - it may be fraudulent. I signed up for a free trial several months ago, but now I am unable to cancel my plan. I can't sign in to my account and when I send them an email I receive no response (I've sent them three!). Mindplay is changing me $30 a month and I am unable to use the service or cancel my plan. Note to Mindplay: Please answer your emails - I'd like to cancel my plan.
