My friends and I were camping at Salt Springs and took an afternoon trip to Ocala. Stopped by this bookstore and it was great! Wide selection of books at good prices.

The woman behind the counter was incredibly rude. I took books in for store credit yesterday and she told me that the barcode scanner was not working. I called today to see if it was working, and if so, I was going to come in and use the store credit to buy more books. After a few short/snippy responses, the woman said "Did you just call to see if I did my job?" My jaw dropped and I had no idea what to say. A few uncomfortable moments later she said "Have a great day" in the most peppy, sarcastic way. I will NOT be going back to claim my store credit. Negative stars.

My first visit and everything was nice and well organized and the people were very nice. I did go just before closing time and they did not rush or pressure like most businesses would at closing on a Friday. I will be going back when I get in the area again. It is 130 miles away for me.

Great little used bookstore in a strip mall east of downtown Ocala, complete with mercurial bookstore cat. (Do NOT pet the cat.) Great selection, from the usual suspects (King, Patterson, etc.) to an extensive collection of non-fiction works and a crazy amount of romance from every era. Definitely worth a browse anytime.

I was so excited to go into the bookstore today to get new books and turning some in for credit, but the lady behind the counter was extremely rude. She was obviously having a bad day, but I will never go back if I need a good use book. I’ll get it off of eBay.
