Annah was instrumental not only in making my manuscript the best it could be, but she also helped me strengthen my skills as a writer.

Her feedback was always encouraging and she helped me resolve weak spots (not just commenting on what it’s lacking).

Specific skills I learned from her were how to ground my readers back into a scene (balancing narration with scene setting and dialogue felt like constantly juggling!).

In addition, she helped me identify and maintain my story’s spine throughout my manuscript; I had a general direction but it felt flat and vague. Her brainstorming sessions and advice led me to make only a minor adjustment to my main character’s arc, but it made the story flow so much better. I’m much more confident in my story.
