My interaction at the Athens Banner Herald was very little, but it was a good experience. We were having my mother's obituary placed in the paper. They pressure people at protests to reveal their identity despite safety concerns, then put their photo in the news after asking to not be identified. I've been followed and harrassed because of their journalistic practices. Friends of mine have had people try to track them down and stab them because of journalistic practices like this in Georgia. It needs to stop.
