Well, it's definitely the noisiest library in Marin. With lots of people talking at normal, and above normal, voices. But even as remote as it is, the DVD selection is enormous. As is the book selection. And they even have a large number of good dvds and books for sale very cheap.

What the Library deserves lots of compliments for is their wonderful technical side rooms. You can see in the photos rooms where you can do transfers between 8 mm and VCR or DVD or to a computer. The teen room has Oculus quests and an Xbox with streaming games to play for free. They even have conference rooms for those who cannot work from home. All excellent additions after their large remodel.

Open Sundays!!!
One of the best public libraries in Marin county. Recently remodeled and enlarged in a beautiful setting in a short walking distance from downtown Tiburon. The extensive and diverse collections & materials AND services this library offer to all patrons in different ages, backgrounds and interests are outstanding.

The renovations look great. The staff is very helpful. There is a great selection of content. The kids' area is expansive. I love this place.

Beautiful space with lots of resources. The used books are more $ than I'm used to (library sales are usually $0.25 - 0.50), but $1-2 isn't bad either, as I feel like I'm supporting the library.
Apparently there's a corner bookstore across the street with more used books for sale.
Helpful staff. Great service
The space could use some quiet study space where no talking is allowed.

Great library and everyone is very friendly and helpful! Really wish they were open on Sunday and closed 1 day during the week. I have a hard time finding time to take my kiddos when Saturday is the only weekend option.

I don't think it's quiet. I think it is quite loud and you don't dare shush anyone. Actually it's the librarians who are the loudest. And nobody is going to argue with them. But let the wrong people make any noise at all and you will get shushed immediately. It really smacks of a kind of arrogance. 'We're more important than you are'.
