For ALL consumers The Better Business Bureau despite its name is NOT a government entity! The BBB is nothing more than a rating corporation business. Though different from other Social media review companies the BBB requires a quite a lot in fees to be a member. With that said the integrity of this type of business should alert consumer beware!

Don't recommend this place as a business. You sign up they give you package and links to show that you are accredited with your rating. I was in a bad accident and wasn't able to renew. They start sending letters about legal actions against you and that they will have your website deleted etc because you are using the "trademark logos etc" that in the beginning they said you can use. Yet im rated by them still and can't use because I won't pay their extortion fees. Extortion is what i call it because the second you can't renew they go from friends to enemies and they don't care. I was going to renew as I was recovered thankfully they started this and I know better now. Avoid BBB! At all cost as a business! Even if your highly rated like i am don't use them. Why do you even need their accreditation anyways? Pay so much money for really nothing people can see your really a business and search on Google.

I had an issue with “Dangle It” of Clearwater, FL who failed to deliver two (Christmas gift) orders I had placed in 11/24 and 12/24. It was virtually impossible to reach the company and I had no recourse. I filed a complaint with the BBB on 1/7/25. They promptly responded (1/8/25 @ 8:32AM) and opened a file on my case. Within three days, “Dangle It” refunded my money for one order and fast tracked my woefully delayed second order. It arrived today, 1/10/25. Was it a coincidence that I received a swift resolution to my complaint three days after contacting BBB? I think not! This is the second time I used the BBB
to help resolve issues with unethical businesses. I’ve been extremely pleased with how easy the process is to file a complaint, the diligence and immediate response to my request, as well as a quick resolution by BBB. Excellent experience!

Thank you so much for assisting me with a complaint and dispute with a company. After 4 months of reaching out to this company, and the company refusing to call me or respond to my emails, I filed a complaint with BBB. Within less than 24 hours of the BBB sending my complaint to the corporate office, I got a respectful email apologizing for our experience, crediting our account and acknowledging that our account was officially closed, as we had requested. we cannot thank the BBB enough.We never would have gotten this response without your help.I hope other people do not hesitate to file legitimate business complaints with the BBB.

I once rated this "business" 5 stars, that was a mistake. I should have kept with my original thoughts. After dealing with this modern day mob, out looking to score protection money from reputable businesses. My mind has been changed and they are not good people. The BBB is so full of themselves they don't even follow the practices they insist other businesses follow. Anyone who thinks the BBB is fair and impartial has not looked into this scam. Horrible people running a scam, shaking down actual businesses that proceed a product or a service.

I have never been a fan of the BBB, personally I do not understand a business model where business pay to be "accredited" with them. It all seems a little sketchy to me.
I have never filed any complaints against a business myself but I do own a business that was targeted with complaints and while some are still ongoing, just the fact that I could pick up the phone and speak to a person who explained the entire process, I have a new respect for them. I still question how they can be a neutral third party when one side is literally paying them, but as a business owner that does not pay for their service I do feel like my situation was handled fairly and professionally, which is all anyone can ask for.

I greatly appreciate the integrity that the BBB brings into play when dealing with a uncooperative business. We had a valid request for refund from a car dealership that had gotten to a point where they denied our claim was refundable, and wouldn't respond at all to our inquiries.
It took two days after posting a complaint with BBB to get our situation resolved to our satisfaction. Clearly the dealer didn't care much about our position until the weight of the BBB came into play. It is comforting to know there is still a valid consumer protection group available to assist with these matters. A big thank you to BBB for their assistance.
