I called the store. The clerk answered with an annoyed "what?". I asked if they had a Ulysses 1926 American first edition. The clerk got annoyed at me because I pronounced Ulysses the way Irish people pronounce Ulysses and not the way Americans pronounce it--its author, James Joyce, was Irish. He got annoyed at me because they "only stock rare books", while the 1926 publication was serialized in a periodical. Which while a distinction I didn't realize was a difference. I've never seen a "rare books and serialized novel store", have you? The Last Book Store has an incomplete version in their "rare books" section. Magazines "publish" things not just publishers. Honestly I don't know how that man sells anything. Literally the rudest agent I've ever spoken to. If he doesn't want people calling at 7.30 he should list hours for calling on the website/Google.

If you’re looking for a special gift or just adding to your collection, look here! Great collection, quick shipping and easy to deal with. The catalogs are great and full of wit, they are often just as fun to read as the books are. I highly recommend. They do not have a shop, this is online and via catalog.
