I have had the absolute BEST experience with Pollard and Associates since we started working with them in 2019. As a business owner, I appreciate their straight forward approach and attention to detail. My tax appointment always starts on time, my return is carefully prepared and the office runs like a well oiled machine. This is the only place I recommend if you are looking for a true group of pros.

I have been going to this office since around 1997. Every year dedicated customer.,yes, last 5-10 years they swish you through like cattle, service went down cost went up. I stayed. Last year I decided to try doing my taxes myself which turned out fine. Decided this year to go back due to some financial changes. I called and was told per their policy they don’t take previous clients. No exception. I have been going to them over 25 years, skip one year and they won’t take me back!! Seriously !! Wow! Just wow!

We spoke with them in early January, they asked us to send our tax info from previous years then a week later after us sending it they let us know they would take us on. We then let our previous tax person know we would no longer be using them. We then scheduled a date to meet and go over our taxes, they took the deposit from us and the next day they called us and let us know they in fact would not be able taking us on. I think this is completely unprofessional. This has cost me time and money. I would never ever recommend them to anyone.

I echo all other people with very bad experience at Mr. Pollard office. Starting with his front office assistant, who is as equally not smart as she is rude. Because my identity was stolen at that office, i am having issues that are related to this office security breach. The front office person was very unwilling to help, spoke to me in a condescending manner, and sent me away. Please find some other place to go to do your taxes.

I had been a client here for years paying $300 for just 10 mins of their time to do my taxes. On my last tax return I needed bill Pollard's office to amend my tax. I received a tax document in the beginning of March, after I filed my taxes with Pollard's office the middle of February. I notified the office immediately, gave them the document well before the tax deadline. They didn't amend my taxes until October! I had to paid interest on the late amendment. I wanted the office to pay the interest since they forgot to file the amended tax form and they said no. Completely unprofessional. For years I pay $300 for 10 minutes of your time to file my taxes and you forget to submit the amended tax form. If it was filed before the tax deadline there wouldn't have been a late interest amount. On top of that their computer system had been hacked and customers information was stolen, including mine, before I could change my bank information there was fraud on my bank account. They did offer 2 years of identity protection. After everything I decided to leave them and go somewhere else. If that's how they treat their long time clients I can't imagine how the treat new clients.

The assistant, Cynthia, had a dismissive attitude during our phone interactions, which left me feeling unheard and ignored. She stated they don't do phone appointments, making it challenging for me to get the support I needed.

After having my tax documents for weeks, I was shocked to receive a last-minute voicemail just two days before April 15th, informing me that they would not proceed with filing my taxes. This left me with no choice but to file for an extension. This experience was especially disheartening given the recurring issues reported in customer reviews and employee feedback on platforms like Glassdoor. It's clear that many others have faced similar levels of frustration and disappointment.

If you're looking for a reliable and professional CPA who has time for the customer, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
