Stopped by with my family while vacationing last week and we were not disappointed! This store is small but the collection is so well curated--I could not believe the variety of books (and art supplies) crammed into this space. I found SO many books that I wanted to buy but limited myself to three due to luggage constraints. I was hoping to perhaps catch a glimpse of Judy, but no luck! I did purchase an autographed copy of Summer Sisters for my mom, though. Will be back next time I'm in Key West!

Probably the hands-down and absolute BEST bookstore you'll ever find! Outstanding selection of books and related items on the shelves in the store, and If what you are looking for isn't in stock then they'll do their magic and find it for you. If you're not right here in Key West then you can order online via their website and have your selection(s) shipped to you. As a non-profit organization they really knock the pants off the massive online for-profit retailers, which is why they are my #1 source for all of my book purchases. Just a top-notch experience in person and online, and I'd much rather support a worthy non-profit organization like this one than further lining the pockets of billionaires. Check them out and you won't be disappointed! 👍👍

When traveling I love finding independent book shops. Great staff and selection, including a section of banned books which I love to see! Connected to The Studios, worth checking out. You can go up to different levels with galleries and artist spaces, and definitely check out Hugh's View on the roof to take in beautiful view of Key West. Thx Books & Books, hope to be back soon 🙂

During my childhood, I developed a deep appreciation for Judy Blume's books. Recently, I began exploring her adult novels and found them equally captivating. Following a difficult breakup, I purchased her book "Wifey," which played a significant role in lifting me out of my depression. Despite being gay, I found a strong connection with the character Sandy.

On a recent cruise to Key West, I was thrilled at the prospect of visiting Judy Blume's store and possibly meeting her in person. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon her arrival at the store, Judy immediately went to the employees-only room without greeting any customers. When we inquired if Judy could sign a book for my partner's daughter, an employee informed us that "Judy doesn't sign paperback books." This response seemed particularly unusual given that the request was for a young girl.

Although I did purchase several of Judy's books that day, I left the store feeling disheartened. I had envisioned Judy as a warm and welcoming individual, but my experience suggested otherwise. Perhaps she was simply having an off day.

A nice locally owned bookstore run by book lovers. Brought a few books for our 2 year old granddaughter including an autographed copy of a classic Judy Blume book. Hoping that she will gain an appreciation of reading when she is able to read on her own.
