The owner of Colorado Writing Project tried, but did not deliver quality writing instruction to our 20 plus teachers. Instead, she relied on a memorized text from a bright, pink laminated sheet and offered much unsolicited criticism instead of constructive feedback on how to teach writing.

She seemed unsure how to connect and collaborate with our diverse grade level teams and did not hear our requests to incorporate the texts and writing themes which are embedded in our Expeditionary Learning curriculum.

I wish we all could have done better; admin, the consultant, and teachers.
