We cannot recommend Lisa highly enough as an algebra tutor! Our twins have been working with her for over six months, and the transformation we've seen in our daughter is truly remarkable. When we first started, she was feeling defeated and believed she would never excel in math, especially after facing some harsh criticism from her school teachers.

Educational Connections is amazing and changed my son's life. He was diagnosed with dyslexia a week before his junior year of high school. His tutors were amazing and worked with us quickly to help him improve his reading and taught us how to work with dyslexia. The tutors are kind, compassionate and educated. The confidence they instilled in him changed him as a person. We always got progress reports after each tutoring session. I came cross Jennifer and her team when my son was a freshman in College. He has struggled with math mostly during his years in secondary school, at least that's what we all thought. It wasn't until we engaged the services of Jennifer and her team that we actually realized what was missing. Not only was my son struggling in math, he was struggling with how to study, none of his IEPs and evaluations picked that up. Mike Vogt, was his dedicated coach and he worked with my son to develop executive function skills that now allow him to plan for his deliverables in school. He has finally learned how to study and is managing on his own and he is less anxious about school in general. I wish my son had this oversight and guidance early on in life, then, he would have not struggled through all those years and would have an even better outcome. We are very grateful to have found Educational Connections, Jennifer and Mike understood the need and went above and beyond !!!

I am very happy a friend recommended Educational Connections. This was money well spent. In retrospect I think SAT prep we have done with another company was a waste of money. Best to invest into Educational Connections colleges applications counsellor. This will make a bigger difference than SAT score in my mind, especially because most schools don't require it. We worked with Kristin Landis and she is great. My daughter applied to 10 colleges in early October and by mid-October she already was already admitted into one of them. I am sure more to come.

My son's Executive Function coach is incredible. My son is now working independently, keeping track of due dates, and working ahead. He is more diligent, more conscientious, and more motivated. His grades have improved across the board. No more scrambling and stress at the end of an academic quarter.
