The worst location i been too, trash bins are full, bathrooms dirty, no hand towels in both bathrooms 😠, food tasted bad, chicken was bad, could not eat part of it because it was hard and dried out, they have these costly modern self serve kiosks that u have to use to order but they cant have a human to clean ou the whole restaurant and the restrooms wow 👎👎👎👎

Long line only 1 cashier, I even ask if they have more cashier because there was a lot of people waiting and the boy said they don't have it I was wow. No customer service skills, they need more training. I'm in my travel roud and just stop there for dinner I was looking for chicken avocado burrito but they did not had avocado nor guacamole, so I had burrito de rancheros it was good.

How do they make one of my items and then I have to wait another 15 minutes for the other two? The excuse is, "we had a big order." Can't they finish my order before they start on a "big order? I ordered on the app, after 20 minutes of waiting for my food, I left the restaurant 29 minutes after I made my order. I watched them make over a dozen items while I waited for my other two items. Why?

I go to El Pollo Loco often. Many different ones in many different cities. When it comes to getting my order smoothly, this location has a difficult time.

It's a 50/50 shot every time.

Update 7/31/2024. I ordered from them again. They made my food on time without issue. When I got home, I found they forgot my chips.

I just checked out the El Pollo Loco in Newhall off Lyon’s Ave. Family members and friends said the food is really good and the prices are reasonable. I must say the food was actually really good and quite healthy as I’m picky on what I eat. I personally had the two piece combo chicken with two sides and corn tortillas and a drink.I definitely walked away full.
As a side note the restaurant was clean and The restroom was well maintained which is a big deal. Clean rest rooms and dining area to me means a clean kitchen. I usually do not write reviews but the staff was so courteous I thought with all the price gouging going on I would just pass this along.

Food is awesome.but the service is bad. The young skinny guy gave the customers attitude.I’m a resident of Valencia .I used coupon today and paid cash.first gave me wrong change and didn’t apologize.but it’s ok.and I asked for spicy sauce which is I always get every time.but the young guy told me he doesn’t have it. Come on.I told him I’m 100% sure you have it .I just don’t want give to me!
And the worst thing is when I get back home .no any sauce at all……that young skinny guy really shouldn’t take any service job

Staffs very friendly and orders came out on time. Dining area is clean and tables bussed. I live in Gorman and I know it's a far communte but this restaurant serves better.Staff's been very nice and food is always fresh👍it's worth the drive to stevenson ranch!
