Ms. Chipman is an excellent tutor. She worked with my son during "online learning" in high school. She understood what was happening with the student, the challenges they were facing and their workload. She was able to identify the obstacles my son was having in his writing and English course and helped to keep him on task. She offered to review his writing between sessions and give input/suggestions. She would help him focus on the assignment and teach time management skills such that he'd be able to complete his work and not feel overwhelmed. I appreciate that she assessed his learning style in the beginning such that she could fine tune her approach with him and personalize the goals for him to achieve.

Additionally, she is a phenomenal coach and mentor. She worked with my daughter while she was on the Speech and Debate Team. She encouraged, assisted, reviewed cases/speeches and was entirely focused on ensuring opportunities for success in competitions and tournaments.

I would highly recommend Ms. Chipman and her tutoring/test prep services as she focused on the needs of the student and equips them with ability to achieve success and confidence.

Where do I begin? Ms. Chipman was heaven-sent.
It all started with a phone call to my daughter's school in January 2024, and on the other end of the phone was the most pleasant and welcoming voice available, willing and ready to assist. Ms. Chipman! To my surprise, I only say that because I was expecting to be transferred or sent to a voicemail from previous experiences. Ms. Chipman advised that she could assist me and would guide me in the right direction if she didn't have the answer. As I prepared to ask my questions, it seemed like she knew what I was going to ask before I completed my sentence. As she took the initiative to look up my daughters scores. She literally answered all of my questions and provided so many helpful tips. This is when my last question came about, "Do You Tutor? Of course her answer was YES!

My daughter is currently a junior and struggled with passing the reading requirement for graduation. After a few attempts and being so close to passing, we knew she needed some additional assistance. So Ms. Chipman put together a plan, and we executed it. This service she provided was exceptional, and the end results showed just that. She was always professional and made herself available whether it was afterschool, via Zoom and weekends at Barnes & Noble. She was always a phone call away not matter what. She assessed, recognized and understood the type of learner my daughter was and that was also helpful. That way she focuses and approach the areas of concern first and build from there. I am excited to say that In such a short period of time my daughter moved up (2) Levels on her standardized testing and satisfied her graduation requirement. Although the requirement has been met we will continue to utilize her service during senior year and to prepare for the process of college admissions etc. I often remind her that she was heaven-sent and I was truly grateful that she answered the phone that one day in January.
