This was very helpful for SAT prep. We were a little late to the game, and Flatirons was very flexible and worked with us in the time we had. Jack was our tutor, and he was great. It was really nice to have the flexibility to schedule with him directly and to have weekend appointments available. Teens are so busy, and this flexibility was important to us.

My son thought the review (especially the math concepts he hasn't looked at in a while) was very helpful and gave him confidence for the big day.

I would love to be able to give the facility an actual rating but even setting up a tutoring session has been a hassle. I applied and received a $500 grant for my son's reading tutoring. The payment was received by them on 11/22. He has dyslexia and is very far behind in reading. Since then we have not had one tutoring session. The first tutor, Jordan, did not show up on the first scheduled tutoring session on a Saturday. Unsure what the actual reason was as I texted her, got no response, and a day later she claimed she had the incorrect email. She said she reached out to my son's schools teachers but then I never heard from her again even after I sent a follow up email. Then we were set up with a different tutor after I asked them to do so. She only had 1 available slot in their week that over lapped with my son's music lesson so it didn't work. She told me she would reach out to the coordinator but I have heard nothing back. That was a week ago. Almost 2 months and not 1 tutoring session yet.. I am a little frustrated with the lack of communication and organization. I'm just trying to get my son help with reading.

Edit-they were quick to address my concerns and have been extremely communicative since. Our tutor Reandra is incredibly kind and patient with my son.
