We happened to find a H Mart while visiting Austin and just had to stop by to check it out. It was one of the larger H Marts we’ve seen and really packs a lot of Asian good as well as fresh fruits, meats and seafood. Surprisingly it was also packed with people or all races. About a quarter of the space was small shops and food court, with many choice of foods.

A great Asian supermarket with everything you could possibly think of. The produce is always fresh and reasonable! The food court is also wonderful! We love coming here although it’s quite a drive from Georgetown but totally worth it!

I got to come here for the first time to see what’s available! I found my favorite cold noodles being sold for $1.99 instead of $7.99 else where! I don’t think it’s always happened like that but I enjoyed their great discount and service! Keep up the good work and bring out more good deals to the community!

A fantastic Asian grocery superstore with clean, well-organized aisles and an impressive selection. While known for Korean products, their Japanese food selection is equally outstanding!

The sushi/sashimi counter is a standout - beautifully presented premium cuts of sashimi-grade fish at reasonable prices (great salmon and tuna selections around $10-11). You'll find all your Japanese essentials like premium nori, various grades of rice, miso, and authentic condiments.

The fresh seafood section is impressive with live dungeness crab ($19.99/lb), fresh fish, and lobster. Their freezer section stocks hard-to-find items like Japanese convenience foods, mochi, and specialty items.

Pro tips:
- Best to shop early morning for the freshest sashimi cuts
- Look for Japanese imports in dedicated aisles (snacks, tea, seasonings)
- Check for sales on premium Japanese rice
- Great selection of authentic Japanese cooking tools and dinnerware
- Fresh wasabi available (not just the paste)

H Mart Austin is a fantastic grocery store, especially if you’re looking for fresh produce and a wide selection of Asian products. Their variety of green leafy vegetables is impressive—everything from bok choy to shiso leaves and fresh herbs is available and in great condition, which can be hard to find elsewhere in Austin.

The seafood selection is also top-notch! They have a great variety of both fresh and frozen seafood, from whole fish to shellfish and sashimi-grade cuts. The freshness of their seafood really stands out, and the frozen section has many options that are perfect for anyone looking to make authentic Asian dishes at home.

The ramen section is another highlight, with shelves full of options from all over Asia, whether you’re looking for classic Japanese brands, spicy Korean ramen, or unique flavors from Southeast Asia. They also have an excellent assortment of sauces, spices, and snacks that make it easy to explore and cook Asian cuisine at home. Highly recommend H Mart for anyone who loves Asian food or wants access to fresh, high-quality ingredients!

Ok, if you really love Korean style food, this spot should be on the top of your list. Not only do they have a Food Hall but, it is attached to an Asian Grocery store. The bakery is amazing and it stays busy so, get there early. My wife and I went a day or so before Christmas and enjoyed the delicious food scenery. We ate a few bakery items before we departed.
