We moved our 89 year old mother in Dec , after months of working closely with Maureen. Maureen did an amazing job listening and understanding our personal needs, as well as ensuring these needs were met. Her gracious attention and compassion was very much appreciated. Transitions like this are emotional and difficult and HarborChase has proven to be a great fit . My mother, who insisted she wasn’t social, has enjoyed many activities, such as exercise classes, bingo, the Rosary, Mass, and even went to tai chi. She feels safe and content in her bright cozy apt. The staff has been wonderful as well. Thank you, Maureen and HarborChase staff for everything you did to make this transition a success.

I am a Caregiver for one of your residents (John) and I'd like to say that he has received outstanding care from all Staff Members including: Upper Management, Admissions, Nursing, Cleaning, Kitchen, Maintenance as well as the Activities Staff. Everyone goes above and beyond to make it a pleasant, caring and welcoming environment. John requires a high level of care. This is the 3rd Facility he has been at and it far exceeds the others. I would highly recommend Harbor Chase of Madison to anyone looking for a High Quality Assisted Living Facility. I would especially like to give thanks to Patty Strickland, Executive Director. She excels in her position and clearly cares for each and every resident. I would also like to thank Maureen in Admissions for a quick and easy Admission, Angela in Nursing for her compassion and continued care, and Kathy at the front desk for going out of her way every day to help John. I just moved my mother into this facility a couple of weeks ago. The staff has been more than helpful and caring during this difficult transition. They let me use furniture while I waited on items to come in for delivery, they are actively engaged with my mother and they try to ensure she is acclimating and socializing as much as possible. They had a welcome dinner for her with my family which was such an incredible gesture. They are communitive, caring, and compassionate. They are always willing to hear any concerns I have and discuss the best possible options for mom. They have made this transition very smooth for me and my family. It wasn't an easy choice to move my mother there, but the staff has convinced me that this was the right call and the right choice for my mother. Each staff member that I have met have gone out of the way to accommodate or address any questions or concerns immediately, and that goes for the entire staff, from the kitchen, to maintenance, to the nursing staff, and management. It's comforting to know that the entire staff is on the same page ensuring that my mom and other residents are treated with respect, and that they truly all put the care in elder care. I can sleep peacefully knowing that she is taken care of the way that I want her to be treated. It has made all the difference from going from her primary caretaker, back to being her son. I can finally enjoy more moments and time with her because the staff is truly taking exceptional care of my mother.

Beautiful facility; had a tour with Patty Strickland who was very thorough in explaining what HC had to offer for my dad. Had the pleasure to work with Maureen Cunningham who guided me through the myriad of paperwork to get admitted in a very short period of time. Have had great feedback in getting my dad set up and comfortable in his new surroundings. Staff appears to show great care for all the residents there. Optimistic this will be a great fit for dad.

I dropped by HC last week and I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked into the facility. I met with Maureen Cunningham who is the director. We sat and talked for a while and then she took me on a tour of the facility. Maureen puts her heart and soul into her work and it shows!!! This place was lovely with an upbeat atmosphere. The residents were busy with activities while live music was playing in one of the great rooms. It was definitely a pleasant experience. My sincere thanks to Maureen, Carrie and Angela.

Recently helped my father move into this community as an emergency placement and found the staff and administrators to be so helpful and supportive during what was an otherwise stressful process. So grateful to Maureen and her staff for fostering a welcoming and supportive community.

My mom lives at The Hearth at Tuxis Pond for several years now. I spent many hours at The Hearth interacting with the staff. My mother and I loves the staff here and they love us right back. The facility is great, she is 92 years old, has hearing aids that requires batteries, and profound dementia. She has the BEST CARE by everyone here. This is why she is happy and healthy. I visit her 2 times or more a week and I see/hear everything the staff cares for her. THANK YOU
