I am now a published author thanks to Hawes and Jenkins. They have been upfront and fair about all the costs. I will continue to update my posts as time goes on. They offer many services, it's a real publishing company. They do what they say. My book is non-fiction available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Kindle, Walmart. 'Teyla and Her Tomfoolery'. On the negative side, I'd like to mention, although my books are available online at Barnes and Noble, it's not actually in-store. Disappointed. Just mentioning this for new writers. You will be your best advertiser, especially if you bought the cheapest tier like me. Oh, and they don't translate your book into different languages, disappointed. One more positive thing, Walmart has now paired up with Hawes and Jenkins. Everything is only online. I've been told (online) is available to author's without a publisher. So you decide if you want to pay a hybrid publisher? They walked me through my publishing. I have noticed that the support you get from the assistant assigned to you at the beginning of your relationship with Hawes and Jenkins, is diminished as time goes on. You only have support for the time your being published, although you can reach out to them. Importantly to know, you have to pay yearly fees to keep the book in print... Just think of it as getting published, not necessarily rich.

Hawes & Jenkins Publishing has been a fantastic partner in publishing my first book (Turn the Key by Julia Harker). They walked me through every step of the publishing process, which was new to me. Melissa Wagner was my main contact, and she was so helpful in every step. It was an enjoyable process, and I can't wait to publish my second book with them. I would strongly encourage anyone who is interested in publishing to use Hawes & Jenkins. They are great!!

Hawes & Jenkins Publishing is publishing my book. They assigned Jenny Burns to walk me through the process. Jenny couldn’t have been more professional, thorough or concerned with the details of my manuscript. I strongly recommend this company in general and her in particular.

As a writer, my lifelong goal has always been to physically publish a book. The staff at Hawes and Jenkins assisted me in making my dream come true. Every stage of publishing was met with professional service and was very promp. What I expected to take 9 months ended up completed within 4 months. My publishing assistant was very promp with responses even when I only had questions. I'm planning on utilizing their services again very soon! Thank you to all who had a hand in it!

One of the more pleasant aspects of the interaction with Hawes/Jenkins was that throughout the process there were no financial or production surprises. Each step was specified beforehand with ample support for corrections afterward.
