My travelling companion and I spend about 50 nights a year in hotels, usually of the 3 star variety. We mainly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were great, the location and charm can't be beat. The minor drawbacks I would note are that sound travels easily in a historic building and that the beds were a little firm for our taste. We both commented to each other in the morning that we were a little stiff due to firmer beds than what we sleep on at home and at some other hotels. Overall though I would stay again. It's a great location, great staff and just cool to stay in a historic building with character.

Hotel Ouray is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond incredible—warm, helpful, and truly accommodating. Their hospitality made our stay exceptional.

The hotel’s historic charm is beautifully preserved, adding so much character to the experience. Our room was stunning—thoughtfully designed, spotless, and so cozy. Breakfast was delicious and a real highlight each morning.

The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of downtown Ouray, making it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and the gorgeous surroundings. We loved every moment of our stay and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

We stayed in suite 8, the corner view was absolutely wonderful!!! The rooms are so clean and the bathroom was apparently just updated because it was great! Wonderful shower too! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. They have a wonderful continental breakfast area, much more than I expected. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about Hotel Ouray. We will definitely go back!

I recently stayed in one of the apartment suites at Hotel Ouray and had an incredible experience. The suite was spacious and conveniently located. A special shoutout to Carrie, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I'm already planning my next trip back!

Great hotel! Theresa was a fabulous Host, as well as the young lady in the morning. Stayed in room 8, great view and very comfortable and clean. Bed was a little too soft for my wife and I but that is personal preference. Will definitely stay there again, highly recommend this hotel.

Loved Hotel Ouray! The woman who checked us in gave us a mini tour of all the rooms as we were the only guests on arrival for our April stay. Continental breakfast was as expected.

Great hotel. Lovely architecture and history. Wonderful service from staff. Had a great sleep. Very spacious room. We had the corner room you can see from the street. Awesome view of the mountains and main street. It had a large main bedroom and second bedroom. Some of the other rooms looked very small, but ideal for a short stay. Nice simple breakfast. Coffee and tea available down the hallway in the breakfast area, not in your room.

Loved this hotel. Loved being in a historic building. It was quaint and very clean. The room was small, bit it was charming and perfect! The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the bathroom! The woman at the front desk was great! I will definitely stay here again.
