Spent two hours going through with their demo, had the sales person ensure us the features and things that we needed were available and included. Like the ability to send a contract, a key component to our business. Doesn’t exist cannot send a contract through this . He also gave us the if you decide now we have an introductory rate if you decide today.“ high-pressure sales are always fun”. We waited for a week for a coaching expert to help us set everything up, just so they could tell us that the features were not available that we were looking for. The coaching person told us they would get back to us after they got some answers the next day it’s been three days just so they could push us along to the next department. They haven’t even responded cancellation request. For a company that boasts so much about their ability to get your company Google reviews. Maybe they should work on their customer service internally a little bit first. Wonder if anybody will actually read this from their company. I should’ve read the reviews before I actually signed up. Looks like I’m not the only one with this experience.

I wish I had better things to say about housecall. We have been using their software for the last 4 years and we have been very open to using all of their additional Subscriptions And solutions. However, what makes house call unbearable is its customer service. Buyer beware anytime you reach out to their service they give you silly answers and no support. For the past four years, their solution has been to read their forums Within their website to find the answers. Then The sales phone calls a few times a month trying to sell us additional products Just leaves a bad taste in our mouth when customer service is as bad as it is. We spend close to $900 monthly.

Want to cancel your account? Good luck. Don’t get talked into “promotional months” with these guys. They take your money and run. Want good customer service and quick response times? This isn’t the company for that. Overall a bad experience from start to finish. Maybe they will make it right or maybe they won’t. Most likely just a polite response for the public.

Stay away from this company!!! Seriously, can't stress this enough. I signed up with this company in order to help grow my company, the only thing they did was take my money and not even provide the minimal service which I explained I was interested in on the call. Check the reviews, there is excuse after excuse of the "recognizing" some flaw in their service and "making" changes to fix it and all at the customer's expense. I filed a complaint with the BBB and was told I was going to get a partial refund, which I didn't receive. I didn't however agree to the partial refund since they admitted in writing that there was a step that was missed during the walkthrough with their "trained" rep. Worst part is they basically said that it was MY FAULT for not telling them that I was not set up correctly. HOW I am supposed to know that? THAT IS LITERALLY THE ONLY THING I WAS PAYING YOU GUYS FOR. I didn't even need to be on the highest dollar plan for the extras I was paying for but didn't even need but this was never explained to me. HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH, RUN AWAY.

BBB complaint #22820608 for more info.

We have been with HCP for about 3 years. We came over from another web-based platform. I have worked with various companies to transfer systems and data in my career. Data integrations are almost NEVER seamless. However, HCP's team worked really hard to get us the best possible transfer options to get us up and running. I did need to clean up data for some time after but it was expected and honestly, overdue. Over time, I have made recommendations to HCP's team and many have been integrated. Their Google Mapping integration (not perfect but super helpful in planning our service routes! You're welcome! LOL) HCP listens! No system is perfect but HCP tries really hard to listen and work with us - they offer substitutes or solutions. Over time, more features that were once add-on services, were included as part of our regular service, as HCP grows, so does their baseline of service offerings. We are a small company - $1Mish revenue, a team of 10, including office and field staff. We have opted in to their card processing - super easy to track invoices & funds. We now run our payroll through them and it is a quick and easy process each payroll. The stats/reporting could use some fleshing out. When we have an open issue or ticket, someone always follows up - even if its a week later. We honestly don't take full advantage of HCP's offerings since some don't apply to our company. We have a lot of clients with multiple properties and contacts. Overall, we are happy HCP clients and our customers are happy with our estimating, invoicing and process - we like easy!

I requested to cancel my account, and even after accepting a promotional offer and asking in writing to stop billing, I was surprised to be charged for three months, totaling around $1,000, for a service I never used. My refund request was denied.

Every part of this software could work better. Submitting orders using their pricing books is difficult when handling different service types, and customer profiles miss important information. Tracking interaction history is confusing because the notes are poorly organized.

Many features are outdated and overpriced. For example, a CRM pipeline that costs $80 per month should be included as standard functionality at a lower price or for free on most platforms. Their basic automation only moves leads between stages with little customization, and the phone system forces you to use their service, charging about $0.40 per minute, even though it uses Twilio, which only charges $0.03 per minute.

Also, the Zapier integration seems intentionally limited, making it hard for users to connect other software to fix problems with built-in features that don't meet changing business needs. This lack of flexibility, along with high prices and an outdated interface, suggests the company may be taking advantage of customers who are not aware of better software options.

I urge potential customers to compare alternatives carefully before committing, especially if you want a solution that is more user-friendly and affordable.

Housecall Pro specializes in selling you things - not customer service. Can't get the reports I want, can't schedule a support call without trying to be upsold, can't engage them via chat as whoever or whatever is providing answers clearly don't understand their own product or the industries using their product. Focus on the product, not your sales funnel.

I have used this software before when I worked for another pest control company and never had any issues. Now that we have our own company, I thought we would go ahead and use the software. After having a demo with one of the salespeople on 12/24/2024, we decided the product would not meet our needs after all. Two days later, Sandro Black called me to follow up about the demo and to sign me up. I told him that we decided to go another route, and I started to give feedback as to why we felt Housecall Pro would not meet our needs at this time. Instead of listening to my reasons for choosing another product, he hung up on me. I then called the main phone number to try to speak to a supervisor so that I could provide my feedback, and the person who answered the call said he would forward my information, but he didn’t allow me to give my information, instead just kept trying to sell me the product. At this point, it doesn’t matter if they would end up meeting our business needs or not, because of the way I was treated by Sandro and the call center. If I can’t even provide a reasonable explanation for not wanting to use the product, then I feel like any customer support would also be substandard.
