Huntington has been a huge blessing to our family and my children. My kids were doing well in school but definitely had a few areas where they were struggling and it was starting to show in their performance. We reached out at Huntington Learning Center as my son needs to review for his HSPT test. Jose (CEO) met with us and explained what program he is recommending and was very flexible with our schedule. My son looks forward in going to his reviews with Ms. McKenna as she is patient with him and would give him test taking techniques. He felt prepared and less anxious prior to taking the test as he has a better understanding of what to expect. We appreciate the help of Huntington with our son, even though we only had him go for a few sessions but it was worth it as that made a big impact to his outlook prior to taking the exam. Thank you!

My son was struggling with the transition into high school, specifically with math and English. We started him at HLC in the fall due to low progress report grades. We noticed an immediate improvement in his confidence with tests, and he managed to finish the semester with A’s and B’s. He is off to a strong start this semester thanks to the support at HLC. My 9th grader did summer enrichment this past summer. It helped ease his way into highschool and boosted his confidence. Currently, he's doing after school homework help during the school year. I'm happy to say he made honor roll thanks to the dedicated tutors who helped him. Then I added my 6th grader who started in October. He has an IEP so the tutors work on fundamental skills with him. When he struggles, Monica always helps adjust the work to help him be at ease. Also still challenge him. The entire staff and teachers are super committed, dedicated and very kind to my kids. My son had some learning loss during distance learning, especially in reading comprehension, in his fourth grade. He needed help, and I chose Huntington because of their customized study plan and small classes.

The goal was to fill the gap and to advance as far as possible. Thanks to great teachers and professional management, he was able to further achieve the goal. During 5th grade, he received the Principal's Honor Rolls and made great strides on the Star tests.

Furthermore, there is a bigger change than good grades. When he made wrong answers on his tests, he used to say it was a mistake. He did not admit his lack of skills. But after Huntington, he said he needs more practice. I value his attitude of admitting his shortcomings and finding a way instead of making excuses.
