Called to report no paper. Called the number for wet or missing paper. Left a name address and a call back number. No response from paper
Went to office and was told that number was not good. This is the 5th time no paper. I paid a year in advance for a paper 7 days a week. Dec.25 I V PRESS reduce their paper to 6 days a week but with no reimbursement for the missed day. Worst customer service in the valley.

I contacted them via phone and email for over a week to request the publication of my father's obituary and they never replied to me at all. He had it in his will that he wanted his obituary published in the IV Press after living here for 25 years, and it was important that it be done in a timely manner so people could attend his service. I don't know what's going on over there, but refusing to even reply to obituary submissions for longtime residents is unprofessional and disrespectful. Thankfully, the Desert Review was able to publish it. I used to support the Imperial Valley Press, I will never do so again and will encourage others to unsubscribe following this experience.
