Allison is incredibly helpful and on top of it during meetings and outside of them. She provides excellent resources and answers to questions, and is a great counselor all around. College applications can be very stressful but her advice and knowledge made the process much easier!

From the parent perspective, Allison made the process so much easier for our senior. She never heard me nag about essays, she never heard me get on her case, I never reviewed a single essay (wanted to make sure the essays were written to the schools and not to dear old mom), and I knew she was in good hands to write personal, touching, and meaningful essays that reflected our child. Worth every penny!

Allison Costa is fabulous and was a game changer for our family. We invested in the comprehensive package with Allison and Inspire College Prep, and it was money well spent, for so many reasons. First and foremost, Allison saved our relationship with our teen and took so much of the fear and stress out of the college process. Allison took our son under her wing and kindly and clearly shepherded him through the many phases of the college process, from initial college research and compiling "THE LIST," to completing applications/essays and application timing/strategy, to navigating the tricky financial aid process, to celebrating successful admissions and matriculation. Our son is interested in music (cello/voice) and sports (track) and Allison is very well versed in arts supplements and the college sports process at a variety of levels. Allison communicated well with our whole family, and was very transparent with us, the parents, while keeping the primary communications with our son. Allison gave our son the power and agency to map his own journey with accountability. Our son is so excited to be going to an excellent college of his choice in the fall, with earned merit scholarships, and a new sense of self and confidence. We could not be more thrilled and recommend Allison to anyone with a teen contemplating embracing higher education.

The word that comes to mind immediately when I think of working with Allison is impressive. She consistently answers questions that we didn't know we had. This has taken much of the 'scary' out of the college application process. Her communications are clear and timely and her commitment to our student allowed us to back off a bit and focus on parenting not on micromanaging. The bulk of the applications are now in and Allison continues to be a valuable resource and provider of calm while we wait.
I highly recommend Allison's services as a way to keep the whole family on track. Additionally, her ability to help your student understand their options when choosing a school, gain clarity around their desires, and then communicate their unique value through essays, is priceless.
