Keith should NOT BE TRUSTED to do your taxes. He is arrogant, rude, dishonest, and will not accept fault. Keith failed to file our business taxes on time, resulting in a fine from the IRS! When we called him to get answers, he screamed at us! Keith blamed us for not turning our information in on time, though we met with him in person in February to ensure he had everything he needed. He obviously took on more clients than he was capable of handling, took payment from them and mislead them to believe he would competently handle filing taxes on their behalf. When he failed, he acted like a child and failed to accept responsibility for dropping the ball. Disgusting.

So sad that I am trading my 5 star review for a 1 star review, but the “customer service” I received from Keith this year was nothing shy of completely unhinged. I have used Keith for years to handle my business taxes. We met with him in February to make sure he had all docs needed (including our EIN), but due to vision problems, he apparently didn’t see it or lost it. He failed to file our taxes on time(3/15). He accused me of not sending our EIN, though I was able to prove I sent it (a second time) days before the deadline. He still did not file our taxes until 13 days past the due date. When we received an unexpected fine from the IRS for failing to file, we called Keith to clarify (because he definitely accepted payment from us). He screamed at me! Said he would not pay my fines (which I never asked him to do).
He said he doesn’t have time to fix his mistakes and wished me luck with my “next preparer”. He stated he is “closing and leaving CA” (probably to try to avoid getting sued!).
We hired Keith because we are busy business owners who do not have time to do our own taxes. We trusted him. We certainly do not have time to try to go back and fix the mistakes he made. The lack of accountability was SHOCKING - to hear a grown man act like a child on the phone and not accept responsibility for the terrible job he did was bizarre, unprofessional, and just plain sad. What a legacy to leave behind. What a disgraceful way to head into a retirement, using our money that he did not earn. Could not be more disappointed.

Used H&R block for more than 10 years but didn’t feel too confident in their work once I started my business. (They had to google which forms to use) So happy to have found Keith. This is my second year using Keith for my personal and business taxes. He responds almost immediately when I email him with questions and gets things done quickly and accurately. Keith was referred to us by a friend. I told her I left 4 messages for our accountant that has done our taxes for 35 years and they won't return calls.
I decided to hire Keith during our free consultation because He and Edie are a great
team. He answered all my questions and saved us $1,000 I tried to do my own taxes...what a costly mistake. He has a fast turn around. Edie even put a stamp on my envelopes to mail in my taxes. That in itself floored me! He is in Vallejo and worth the drive. I will have him do our 2020 taxes. All I will need to do is drop off our paperwork. So simple and comvenient!

Do NOT let this guy do your taxes! He started cursing at me on email when I was asking for clarification on some entries on my business taxes. He has made so many typos and mistakes on both my personal and business taxes. I was actually referred to him by a friend who just told me she had to fire him last year. If you want professional service, this is NOT the place to go. His secretary couldn’t even manage to put the correct tax year on the envelope she handed to me. The receipt he gave me showed tax preparation for the wrong year. Take your business elsewhere people!

Very unprofessional. Multiple mistakes were made and when I asked for clarification he started cursing me on email and with 1 day left to file threatened not to file the taxes. Beware! I doubt he'll help you if the IRS audits you.
