I want to thank Amy and Emily for helping my daughter achieve her dreams. We have been pondering this review for a while because it is so important and we did not want to write it in a rush during this busy time. I want to start by saying that we probably entered into the process a bit late, starting the summer before my daughter’s senior year. I would advise starting with Amy and her team earlier, but Amy did not bat an eye lash when we finally came to her. She was confident she could help, and wow, she helped us more than we could have ever have imagined. The process is stressful and I will never deny that, but my mind was set at ease the moment we met Amy and Emily. They played somewhat different roles - Amy with general application processes and Emily with essay support - but they were both invaluable. No question we had was left unanswered. More importantly, we became family, navigating the ins and outs of college admissions together as a team. When my daughter was busy with school work, Amy and her team provided gentle encouragement that did not stress my daughter out, but encouraged her to keep moving forward. I truly believe the comments and edits on my daughter’s essays ultimately got her into her dream school while Amy and I worked together to navigate the logistics of the process as a whole. It was seamless and I would recommend this team to anyone considering a college consultant.

I have been drafting this review for quite a while, trying to find the words to properly thank Amy and Emily. Amy is incredibly knowledgeable about Common App and the entire application process and can answer any question you can possibly have. Emily was an amazing help during the writing process, helping me to meaningfully answer the obscure application questions. I would 100% recommend working with Macy College Consulting to absolutely anyone. Not only do they have the resources to make your application excel but they also help you organize and effectively manage your time, I had most of my applications completed before my senior year began. Both Amy and Emily are so funny and kind, amazing people to work with and I wouldn’t be here, struggling to pick between several amazing schools if it weren’t for them!

Working with Amy for my son’s college admissions journey was a tremendous help. Particularly because he was our first going through the process, Having Amy on board helped untangle of what could’ve been an overly complex process. She broke it down and simplified it, which was incredibly helpful and time saving. I especially liked the summer program where her students all get together for an entire week and just get a lot of preliminaries done. Keeping him on task prevented overwhelming, last-minute challenges that I imagine many students and parents must face.

She was fantastic! Mrs. Amy was amazing at having everything organized and laid out for me, we would meet at the cutest coffee shops, and she was so great at asking the right questions to get to know me, then preparing a list of schools she knew I would be interested in. From there helped me make a plan and do all the steps necessary to all my applications in by the deadlines. I have now been accepted into every school I applied to, all thanks to Amy Macy. She is awesome!
