My former accountant had me as a C corp and I was paying double social security taxes. Myself and the corporation had to match the taxes. Mark suggested I switch to a S corp and not have to pay double social security. He responds quickly to my email questions and after 20 years I have never had to pay penalties or interest on taxes owed because he makes sure I pay them on time.

I hired Mark Reader to handle all my business and personal accounting and taxes. By all accounts, he demonstrated a high level of incompetence by working up fictional numbers and creating imaginary - and very wrong - estimates of my tax liability that left me owing many thousands of dollars at the end of the year. I also was hit with hundreds of dollars in IRS penalties thanks to his grossly underestimating my quarterly liability. He charges a LOT for his services, so one should expect some level of expertise, which I did not experience. He’s also a condescending jerk.

Buyer beware. I would always advise anyone to avoid the risk of hiring Mark Reader by seeking professional CPA services elsewhere.
