I started looking for an advisor for my son a little late in the process and Maureen was the second person I spoke with. She was very easy going and had great suggestions on how to approach the application process which put me at ease. After speaking with a couple more people, I left the choice up to my son and he picked her. He thought she understood him and better than the others he spoke with. Other than checking in once or twice over the next few months, I wasn't involved much until his essays were ready for submission. She kept him on schedule, encouraged him to think differently. I was surprised with his choice of the common app question and his response but found it to be very thoughtful and well written. He got into his early decision choice and is very happy.
