I preferred Michael’s several years ago. Today it feels more like a store about merchandising and simply moving people through it.

However, the staff is quite nice and very helpful.

The in-store retail experience isn’t what it used to be. Serves its purpose, but could be much more engaging for the crafting community. It will be nice when retail spaces are rethought and redesigned with this in mind.

Ordered items online states item is ready for pick up. Went to pick up items and 2 items were missing. Called customer service and waited for 20 minutes on hold to be told too bad. Items no longer available except item are shown to be able to be picked up today at same location. When I asked about this I was told by customer service to call and ask the store. I've already wasted my time going to pick items that were incomplete and now I have to waste more time to check the store when they should be accurate online. Terrible business practice and even worse customer service. So disappointed that people just don't care about their work or the company they work for anymore.

Went into Michaels in Stevenson Ranch because I needed to buy small starfish. Walked around as I do in all the stores I am new to. The aisles are a good size to walk around. I asked an employee if they had the item I was looking for and she just said aisle 13. This was my first time at Michael's and wasn't sure we're aisle 13 was or even which way at least. She then pointed across the room. So I felt a little awkward because I would have liked a little more guidance of where to find the item I was looking for.

Is great that there's not a lot of people coming in but everybody is staying safe with masks on. Lot of discounts right now And the staff is very very helpful!

I'm thinking this is ilegal..forcing me to use a pin when using my debit/cc card. They do not offer a bypass....it's either use your pin or leave.

The manager Shannon went above and beyond for my family. We had a loved one in the icu the other day and they would not allow real flowers for medical reasons. The emergency was time sensitive and I was not in town, but I wanted to bring something to my relatives. After a 5 or so min call, she had a bouquet of flowers planned and ready to be picked up by my husband who worked near by. Shannon helped bring some light and love to a sad day for me and my family without hesitation. Can't be thankful enough.
