Ron worked with both of my kids when they were preparing for the ACT. He is very knowledgeable & patient. He was excellent at explaining subjects/questions they did not understand. I know he is the SAT Coach, but after discussion with Ron we decided that both my kids were better suited for the ACT. Ron did a great job in helping them prepare for the ACT.

Ron exceeded our expectations! He is an expert on everything SAT!! He helped boost our son's PSAT score by 300 points! Ron began tutoring our son the summer before his senior year, twice a week for about 10 weeks. Our son really enjoyed working with Ron, he is easy to get along with and did an excellent job explaining the concepts and ideas needed to succeed on the SAT. He had our son take up to 12 practice tests; Ron's test planning prep strategies and timelines kept our son motivated and on track toward his goal. He excels at communication, organization, and was flexible with our schedule as needed. Ron is a great tutor! He is super friendly and chill. He helped me improve on the ACT, raising my score from a 29 to 32, in just less than 2 months of prep. My writing subsection increased by almost 10 points and science by more than 5! I highly recommend Ronnie, especially if you need help on the writing/science sections. P.s.: I took only one SAT session with him but my score improved from a 1240 to a 1450! His ACT sessions taught me how to take standardized tests in general, which helped me on the SAT as well.

When I started tutoring sessions with Ron, I already had a decent SAT score, but was hoping to raise my score by a few points so I could have a better chance to get into some colleges I was applying to. In just a few sessions, Ron gave me a lot of tips that helped me raise my SAT grade by 90 points. His test taking methods and overall tutoring style worked really well for me, and made the SAT seem a lot easier, especially the English portion, which I usually struggle the most on.

I worked with Ron over the summer to increase my score for the SAT and he was excellent. A couple of weeks of private tutoring and homework resulted in an increase of exactly 200 points (1040-1240). He was experienced, kind, very professional, and extremely helpful. By working on practice tests he was quick to pinpoint my areas of weakness and focused on them. After seeing how well i have improved and progressed over the practice tests he assigned me as homework over the course of the couple of weeks, he instilled an enriching wave of confidence before taking the August tests. Apart from tutoring me on the SAT, he would constantly be on my case about reading books, as he strongly suggests that it will largely help my comprehension skills. His teaching has brought the best of me in academics in general, and i realized that once I got back to school. I found that i was much more proficient in Math and English, as well other subjects pertaining to the many topics we have discussed.
