Came here when i was on vacation to grab a sub from the deli with my family. Stood there for close to 10 mins having the ladies working there completely ignore us and pretending to be working. The lady working there would pick up a condiment dish that was full and hold it in her hand and walk away as if she needed to fill it up. After being ignored for another 10 mins i asked for the manager Kelly, and man was that pointless as she acted like she had better things to do, like go sign for one of her vendors. Ive been in law enforcement for years and managed several private security companies down here. One thing i can tell you is that manager kelly, couldnt manage her way out of a wet paper bag let alone 5 people.

The lady at customer service/western union is very slow, seems incompetent, and didnā€™t even acknowledge me. I was waiting in line for more than 20 minutes and still didnā€™t get what I needed done. Others waited in line behind me complaining about how slow she was moving and she purposely started moving slower until they eventually left.

Publix is expensive in almost every item they sell. What is labeled as discounted, I get elsewhere as normal priced or even cheaper. Everything is at least 50 ct to a dollar more expensive than the competitors.
Astonishing, since it is a big chain with many stores in southern Florida and therefore should get volume discounts when purchasing.
The produce section is big, but again no bang for the buck.
It is hard to find items for a nutrition-conscious person. Never mind anything with less sugar or a healthy and not artificial sugar alternative. The same goes for the salt content.
It is the closest grocery store to my house but with its elevated pricing structure, I avoid shopping there as much as possible.

The pre-made Salida are great and we have several in the house at all times....strawberry rasberries and mixed greens. It would be challenging to make a salid this varied on your own without having lots of leftover ingredients. Good job Publix !!!

Rude people at Deli. Bad attitude. I ordered online to avid delays and the order wasnā€™t ready on time, but in a rude way told me that I have to wait!l

09/08/24 Adding to my last review, I placed an online order of 2 deli meats and 1 cheese. For the second time in a row, my order wasnā€™t ready at the promised time. I had to stand there and wait while they sliced it, which defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. It wasnā€™t busy, it was a Sunday morning, it was just me and one other customer there, (her order wasnā€™t ready either.) Then, when I went to check out, I went into the Express line. The cashier, Heather, told me, ā€œyou need to make sure that next time that you only have 10 items, sweetie.ā€ (I am 47 years old, please donā€™t call me ā€œsweetieā€ was what I wanted to say to her, but I didnā€™t .) I only had two extra items on the conveyer belt. So, to appease Heather, I put two items back while I was waiting behind the customer in front of me. I told Heather I put two items back so I only have 10 items now and her response to me was, ā€œyou need to be considerate of the people behind you.ā€ I responded to her by saying,ā€ I donā€™t think it takes much time to scan two extra items, but ok, I put them back and made it right.ā€ (Who is the customer here) Then Heather started fawning over the cupcakes that I bought. I told her we need to finish up so we arenā€™t being inconsiderate of the customers behind me. I told her to have a nice day.
Isnā€™t Publix supposed to be the place where ā€œshopping is a pleasure?ā€

07/25/24 Adding to my last review: I just purchased a rice pudding from yesterday, the sell by date is 7/28/24, yesterday was 7/24/24. I opened the rice pudding and there was GREEN SPOTS OF MOLD. (See attached pictures and my receipt.) This is disgusting. I just canā€™t with this bakery anymore.

Please see attached picture, this was an apple ā€œCoffee Cakeā€ (strudel) that I bought today from the Publix bakery. As you can see, it is raw on the bottom. (Yes, I returned it and got my money back.) But someone who doesnā€™t know any better is going to eat this and get sick if something isnā€™t done to correct this. Unfortunately, this is not the only product in the bakery that Iā€™ve brought home only to find that it was raw. Oftentimes, their muffins are undercooked in the middle as well. I know this is not the Boynton locationā€™s fault. These products are baked at a central Publix distribution bakery and then shipped to the individual Publix stores. But someone in management has GOT to say something to the main Publix bakery distribution center. This is not a new occurrence, this has been going on for years. I shouldnā€™t have to go to Walmartā€™s bakery to buy a thoroughly cooked strudel. I hate to admit this, but Walmartā€™s strudel is AMAZING! Plus, Publix charges $6 for their raw strudel, whereas Walmart only charges $4 for their perfectly baked, light, and tasty strudel. Please, Publix management, say something to your main distribution bakery to fix this. I know they can do better than Walmart if they care enough to try.
