Publix Super Market at Hyde Park

This greenwise store offers a few more organic foods than standard Publix stores. The store is on the first floor, accessed by first floor door or from second floor via elevator or escalator with wheel chair van access parking in private free parking lot on second floor. The grocery cart rides its own cart escalator, which kids find so funny. I was able to purchase several gift cards and KELLIE explained how to include the receipt with the gift card. The signage is great and easy to find the bakery, and the deli with great fried chicken. Kids receive a piece of fruit or cookie. I love this smaller venue The family restroom is wheel chair accessible with two grab bars and a diaper changer.

Super clean and the staff was super nice! The prices are high but I feel like the prices of groceries are high everywhere. They did have good sales though! Tons of buy one get one free stuff! We are here from out of town so I thought that we would have to sign up for their shopper card but we did not! They honored the sales with no shopper bonus card that's pretty awesome! Also this grocery store has a parking garage on top of it and then you take an escalator down into the store. That's pretty cool.

Way over priced - yet the fruit is always a few days from rotten. Look at the pictures. I brought it up to the manager once and he dismissed it as if it’s fine. Not sure why publix can’t get fresh fruit for these prices It didn’t used to be this way, only past 2 years it’s really gone down hill

Nice and clean, well stocked, good prices, and has indoor parking garage with escalators that also allow you to place your cart on it to bring groceries up to your vehicle!

I went to the store when it was the least busy because my friend in Pakistan wanted to know what our grocery stores look like. So I took a few short videos (nothing over 60 seconds) of the shelves and the deli area. Then I passed between five employees. One of them, the manager I think, told me it was against Publix rules to take photographs or videos. She showed me the very small sign on the wall next to the entrance/exit. I was taping when I approached that group of employees and I have the video of the conversation between she and I. Anyway, that sign couldn't be seen until you were exiting the building, after I took the photos and videos. I can't understand why she would question a 65 year old man with silver hair who obviously wasn't bothering anybody, except the employee. I'm not going to that Publix again and I have doubts about going back to any Publix store. There are many other options!

Management is doing something right at this location. Appearance always clean and organized, shelves stacked, BOGO section at entrance is selected perfectly and above all things great....the STAFF! From young to seasoned, they are all so happy to be there and happy to serve. As a frequent community shopper, I'm so glad I can walk to this gem!

When our GPS said that we were there it was hard to distinguish that it was a grocery store from the outside.

Even though you need to take an escalator or elevator into the store, it's still quick. Also my back was going out & there was a plugged in & charged electric cart ready to go on the parking lot level in front of the elevator. The elevators are huge so you can maneuver an electric cart in them with no problem even if there are other people in it.
