Publix Super Market at Shoppes at North Cape

Happy with this location! We used to go to the 41 and Del Prado location as our main grocery store but the sushi and staff hasn’t been the best recently so decided to start coming here and it’s been much more Pleasant. I got a few subs from here over the last few days and they’ve all been really delicious! The employees didn’t seem annoyed when I asked for my sub a certain way, which I appreciate and the subs always taste good, fresh and are built well. The sushi has been great here as well (for grocery store sushi anyways!). I also like how this location seems a little more updated, they have doors on the fridge area where like the hot dogs and stuff are…I don’t know….just seems nicer if that makes sense haha!

I went to this store for my 94 year old in-laws. I tried to order 2 fish sandwiches at the deli. 1st lady that was helping me said you don't sell fish sandwiches. So she asked someone else they said same as 1st lady. So by the time I got to the 4th person and she asked another lady. That lady says we do. Then the service lady said that is cod. I said yes I know I have it right here on my phone. But instead of me getting 2 cod sandwiches. I got one and one catfish. And back to 1st deli worker I ordered the chicken bacon 1/2 sub. She brings it over and wraps it up with no condiments on it. I asked if i could have my toppings on the side, so all she gave me was garlic pickels. I usually am very happy with the services. But if I was a secret shopper they would failed big time I was in the food business for 35 years. And there is no way I would of let my crew online without better knowledge and manners. Thank you for listening.

One of the managers, Kevin, was extremely rude to me today. When I had a simple question about where to find a product, he sighed deeply and seemed irritated to even help me. It’s shocking that someone in a managerial position would display such a lack of basic customer service skills. What made it worse was how dismissive Kevin was when I asked for assistance. He told me at first that the product was in aisle 15, it wasn't. When I came back to him to tell him that I couldn't find it, instead of just showing me where the product actually was, he sounded irritated that I interrupted a conversation between him and a female coworker and told me in a really "stop bothering me" type of tone that it would be with all the other cleaning products in aisle 14. If this is how management treats customers, I can’t imagine how they treat their staff. I will not be returning to this location and strongly advise others to avoid it as well. There are plenty of other places with better customer service. Kevin’s attitude is a serious problem that needs to be addressed.

Shopped here many times before but this time I went in and didn't see Kaiser rolls in the bakery so I asked the Spanish girl if they had any. She asked me to describe what they look like. YOU WORK AT A BAKERY!!! Then she finally gives me a pack after I find 1 bag on the shelf and it looked like the top half of a hamburger bun.

Hours of liquor store are not the same as the store drove miles out of the way because the ones closest to me are closed an yet then same there an it was close but store was still open lost time an fuel

Since I moved here a month ago and shopped this specific Publix; I’ve had issues with the meat I’ve purchased. The ground beef is already turning brown from the inside and the chicken is sitting a lot of liquid. All the meat I’ve cooked has had a bad smell and off taste. I appreciate that the Publix is close to my house but I do not feel the meat sold here is safe for my family.

I’m not from the area so the prices always seem kinda high. The bakery and in store prepares hot and cold foods are of good quality and variety. I always find what I need in the grocery and sundry areas. The store brands are quality products. Store is clean with wide aisles and usually busy but checkout is relatively quick and staff is pleasant. All indications are of a well managed store. First choice store for convenience and quality.

Easy in and out for groceries and liquor store is next door. Pleasant staff and clean building. Love the options for easy premade food.
