The Deli department is not only the most negligible and awful service, but dangerous.

Unfortunately this Publix is on my way home so I frequent it a lot. Today I had to tell the girl to not give me my sandwich meat which she had shredded the plastic wrapping into and begun to pull it out of the shredded meat right in front of me.

Not a single good thing I can say about this place. Order your meat early? Doesn’t matter. Nobody would like to assist you so you’re going to still be waiting in line or it’s not ready.

Want to order meat? Too bad. They’re busy doing anything any else but helping you.

The other Publix are like a 5 star store compared to this one.

Overall good. One complaint: the girl who was supposed to be assisting with putting groceries into the carts, was just standing there poking at a stuffed bear. At least she should have moved to the side while I was doing her job, instead of standing in my way. Otherwise, this is a good Publix. This was just a one off situation, I am sure.

I’m currently in line waiting for a sub, and this is a recurring issue at this location. Every time I come here, there’s a long line with only one person working. That one employee is expected to handle chicken and sides while making subs, which creates significant delays. It’s extremely frustrating to wait 15 minutes or more every time, especially after a long day.

Even ordering ahead doesn’t help. I’ve pre-ordered before and still had to wait in line for 15 minutes to get my sub. To make matters worse, I’ve seen employees in the back walk past the line without offering to help, which shows a lack of care for customers’ time.

People complain about the long sub line all the time, but nothing ever changes. Avoid this location if you value your time.

I had the pleasure of stopping at this Publix store and was so impressed with the Management and staff. They were all extremely helpful, kind, and considerate and went out of their way to assist me. What wonderful service - thank you !!

The deli is horrible. Old dried food in the hot case. Popcorn chicken is on sale and they did not have any to sell. It's dinner time and it looks bare. Where is the great they talk about. It seems like they are only concerned about making sandwiches. When you are shopping the rest of the store make sure to look at the dates. I have found plenty of items out of date. Sometimes by quite a bit. You let someone know about the issue and they just seem not to care. I found bacon 2 months old and one time I found the hashbrowns, by the meat case, out of date by 6 months.

No management!!! Valeria a woman who calls herself "customer service manager" 1/1/25 6pm, delayed a line of 10 customers for over 20 minutes. A person paying with food stamps didn't agree with the bill, Valeria a manager spent 20 minutes reviewing a receipt, instead of moving the person to another register.
Valeria had no excuse for her lack of respect for 10 customers, making us wait 20 minutes to pay for overprice food!! As if you are black Publix will treat you better. This Publix is the worst of all Broward!!!

I stopped by after the gym to get a salad for the day. I'm not sure if the worker Howard in the section where you prepare subs was just having a bad morning but if a customer is requesting something, you supposed to give it to them not direct them to another location of the store to not get what they ask for.
Therefore, I kindly placed the salad back on the counter and walked away. He is always unpleasant every time I shop here for a something he is so grouchy and never smiles always as if he doesn't want to be at work.
Sorry, Mister Howard, you have to work past retirement, but don't be grouchy when preparing people food. Work in the back.

This is the worse Publix to shop at, Management needs to be retrained including the associates they oversee especially in the Meat, Bakery and Deli department!

They are not eager and always have an attitude when paying customers need assistance. I absolutely hate doing orders at this store! The shelves are almost never stocked or stocked properly.

The stockers need to be retrained too. There’s not one time I go to this location that the stockers are maintaining the merchandise on the shelves.

They only person who needs a raise at this location is the cart associate because that’s the only thing that’s always available.

Most of the employees at this store has a language barrier or a physical disability which makes it hard for them to assist.

Today, around 2pm was the first time I seen the sub station empty!

And I was so happy, because those associates don’t deserve any customers! What they need is their hours cut. They enjoy Ignoring customers and having personal conversations amongst each other, especially when they’re is one in front of the case, to assist.

Consumers, Please shop else where to save yourself a headache. The store in lauderhill on 56th, is more welcoming and the associates there are always willing to help and the store is always clean and fully stocked.

It’s crazy how all these customers have made reviews in detail to their horrible shopping experience at this location.And no one from Publix head quarters has tried to rectify these issues.

It’s ok I’ll send our complaints to Publix headquarters because something needs to be done.

And those people who made those 4-5 stars reviews are definitely lying.

Maybe, send a decoy shopper at that location and let them experience the pleasure shopping at this Publix provides, this store most be a franchise?! There’s no way HR see these reviews and says do absolutely nothing about it I’m sure the inventory and lack of customer service has impacted this stores revenue compared to the other locations.
