2 weeks ago went to order my sons bday cake from publix on 1700 Sheridan str the employees were fighting with me that they can’t make me 8inch cake that i have made without any problems last year on other publix on sheridan and 56 str . The cake was horrible was already melting for 20 min shopping inside the store the decoration was horrible compared with the one made on other publix will never order again from this publix

Shop here all the time. Very clean store with helpful staff. Ronald at checkout has become a helpful friend. During storms when bottled water is short, he manages to always save me a case. Prices are high so I only buy bogo deals (2 for 1). Publix brand is also cost savings for quality foods.

TANIYA is an extremely rude employee. She needs to be written up and fired or retrained or have manager on duty on floor watch with her. Not a good face to have for Publix as usually most employees are super awesome at almost every Publix pleasant to shop but with her NO SMILES NO GREETINGS NOT ONCE said a dang word. It was like so hard to say a thing. Mind you this is the third time it's happened specifically from her. Im sorry to say i felt a bit of racism here because um what else could it be to simply say a "hello" but today unfortunately got stuck in her checkout line and gentlemen just got rung up and she said have a goodnight so let's see after I got rung up and this is the third time, third time and nothing personally to me. Plain rude attitude. I avoided her line once but I was stuck this time and wanted to see and sure enough the same stares rude no talking employee. Store manager has to reevaluate TANIYA. She should not be on register with such a stank face. Its rude. After one of the checkout times I even left after all her rudeness negative vibes and I said have a great day and guess what ..... nothing. It shows clearly you're rude. There is another cashier here that is religiously super rude too. Mainly the females. And i literally had to choose a checkout line for the entirety of shopping at this Publix. This Publix is great I apologize for the others that are actually amazing and this is my local one and I'm a regular here as a customer almost all employees here are amazing. Never seen such a face not so pleasant.

This is an awesome Publix. Great diverse crowd. The deli is friendly and quick. There is a very wide selection of varieties stock for most items. Also, the checkout rarely has any extended waits.

This is the first time trying to have Publix as my pharmacy, although I have a different insurance and Walgreens is my go to pharmacy, unfortunately they don't accept my current insurance. I called to get information about getting my prescriptions transferred to Publix, since that is the closest to me, I spoke with Melissa who also claim she is a manager. I have a recording of the call as well. Very rude, bad attitude, and not helpful at all for a "manager", although she claim she is trying to help. She asked about the medications, which I don't know all and can't pronounce a few, I explained what Walgreens explained to me, which was to give them the number and they will have everything transferred, but she didn't want to do that. So, if that is a problem for Melissa, then I can go else where. Not good for business seeing this is how you and your staffs gets paid, but keep up with your manager position and sending people else where. I appreciate you for not helping me as the "manager" great work.

I am extremely disappointed with the Publix store in my area. They have a full-time security guard, but it’s clear that the guard is only focused on preventing theft and not on the much more pressing issue of people parking in fire lanes. It's infuriating to see drivers routinely park in fire lanes without any consequences, putting everyone at risk. A fire lane is there for safety, and if an emergency situation were to occur, the blocked lanes could delay first responders from getting to where they’re needed. Publix really needs to address this. The security guard should be actively enforcing fire lane regulations, not just monitoring theft. This is a safety hazard, and someone could easily get hurt or worse. Until they start taking this seriously, I can’t recommend this store.

The friendliness of Publix Supermarket employees (a couple of bad apples doesn't make a dent) is great. That's why I keep coming back. Now, this particular location, the awareness, impressed me even more . Like a week or so ago, I ordered a sub from the Deli (deliciously well done), and while I was waiting online to pay for an associate, came rushing to me from that department with a new sticker price because I was overcharged by mistake...details like this one here tells you apart of how much you love your job. I love this!
