Publix Super Market at Westport Plaza

The Deli staff is extremely rude. I experienced a male worker have sarcasm with me only because I asked if the Deli area was closed. I was first ignored and then once I asked again, he sarcastically said “closed where?” And threw his hands up. His demeanor was rude and unnecessary. This was last night. The only reason I asked was because they seemed as if they were cleaning up and usually they don’t serve at the Deli after a certain time. I did let one of the managers know. However, after reading the reviews, I could tell that I’m not the only one experiencing rude staff members at the Deli. They all need to go through customer service trainings before they lose more customers.

Stopped at this Publix to buy a birthday cake and flowers for my girlfriend's birthday. Got a white plain raspberry cake and waited at the bakery to request to write "Happy birthday" on the cake. A very unhappy bakery employee came over, and when I made my request, he said: "we can't write in decorative cakes." Instead, he gave me a generic Happy birthday plastic sign instead. I was very surprised and very unhappy because in all my years shopping at different Publix locations, no one ever denied to write "happy birthday" in a cake to me before, even in decorative cakes like the one I've picked... I took the cake at first but decided to put the cake back and visit a different location.

Beautiful store, very clean and every worker here is very friendly! I found everything I was looking for. Highly recommended!!!

This is the absolute worst Publix you could shop at,and the main reason is the management, if that is what Publix calls them. 1 lane for full carts and everything else is either self check out (and with a full cart that is almost impossible) or 2 lanes with 10 or less . Manager told me oh well so I left my full cart (about 150.00 ) and left it for him to put away. I had 5 full carts ahead of me for the regular checkout and the two 10 or less had nobody checking out VERY POOR MANAGEMENT STAY AWAY FROM THIS PUBLIX ASST. MANGER IS A IDIOT and as you can expect from Publix no response nice job Publix

Very friendly environment, Shayne at the Deli department was exceptional. Cut all the Cheese and meats exactly as we ordered and very fast. Definitely a very pleasant experience.

They're coming here for years very nice service everybody's friendly but most importantly marry the cashier is amazing if I see her working in a line I will go to her line only if there's a long line in her line I will wait always wonderful when she is working.

This publix need to seriously overhaul there managers here.....I tried for two days in a row to order a wrap from there deli and both times was not ready when I arrived 15 min after the pick up time. I was then told both times one item they where out of and held up the order. I asked did you try to call me and was told no. Safe to say I did not get anything becuase I was under a time crunch from my lunch break. PLEASE AVOID THIS PUBLIX DELI AT ALL COST. They do not care about the customers in the least bit.

If it wasn't for a few good cashiers, I would have given it a solid 1 star. I've seen why it happened... Management. I've been here many times to see how leadership gives very little effort to make this small store feel better.
