The pandemic really hit my daughter hard…she’s more of an extrovert & learns better when in-person & amongst her friends & classmates. She was struggling with reading & her grades were suffering. It started to effect her self esteem. Ms. Richie not only took the time to specifically diagnose my daughter’s trouble areas academically, but also listened to how she was feeling & what or who made her feel insecure. Ms. Richie makes it clear to my daughter that the lesson is my daughter’s special time with her to focus on my daughter’s specific needs. I also think it’s important to point out that it truly takes the commitment of the parent(s) to make sure your child completes the homework & remains engaged during the sessions as Ms. Richie cannot work miracles without parental involvement. This is hard work! She not only tailors her lessons to things that work for my daughter, but also motivate her…this is the “special sauce” that makes Ray of Hope Academy Florida unique. My daughter often ends lessons with Ms. Richie proudly and more importantly, she speaks about what she has learned with excitement. Ms. Richie has restored my daughter’s confidence & she is now on the superior honor roll! I am impressed with Ms. Richie’s professionalism and the depth of the relationship she has built with my daughter. She is a truly gifted educator who deeply cares about building her student’s confidence through reading. It is such a blessing for my daughter to have Ms. Richie as her private tutor.

Ray of Hope Academy has been nothing but a blessing for me and my family. Ms. Ritchie is patient, caring, knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond. She provides relatable content and keeps her information current. She has been able to keep my daughter for the last 2 1/2 years ahead. She provides instruction to my daughter even though we are out of state. I have been asked many times if someone has been working with my daughter and if so, could I recommend for other parents. Aside from tutoring my daughter she has also provided services for another family member. Ms. Ritchie is nothing short of amazing. 5 stars is not enough for the service she delivers. I am beyond satisfied.

Ms. Neisha Richie has been an extremely great tutor for my son with his reading lessons. She's patience, she's well prepared with adequate material that she teach and she also help with his homework too in both subjects, reading & math. I thank Ms. Richie not only for her tutoring service but for her guidance and the big impact she has planted on my son. She makes learning fun and interesting with her Ray Bucks that the students earn once they return their homework that she has provided and doing well during their tutoring session. Ms. Richie cares about her students and it shows. Her genuine personality is the key to her tutoring success and I highly recommend anyone looking for a tutor!!

I would definitely recommend Ray of Hope to anyone with children! Neisha is sooooo very diverse with communicating with the students so that they understand. She reviews the lesson in a way that is fun and easy to remember. My child struggled with reading and Ms. Neisha was able to help surpass her current grade level! Any tools that we need help with, she is sure to cover them during our sessions.

I highly recommend this Academy for any child three of my four children used the service, my 3rd grader passed FSA and was struggling with reading they assured me she had no worries. Since using the services my baby girl is a straight “A”student an attends honors classes so receipts are there this program is the best!
