Sarah was our son’s beloved reading and writing tutor for two years. Beginning when our child was in second grade, she helped him increase his reading fluency, strength, and comprehension. By our request, she also worked with him on his writing skills, helping him brainstorm ideas, organize his thoughts, and arrange them into grade-appropriate pieces. Sarah is an excellent communicator and regularly dialogued with us about her observations, and sought feedback and information that could help tailor the tutoring sessions around what our son needed most at the time. We were also grateful that she prepared specific lessons for each session, with flexibility to make adjustments if needed. Sarah was a crucial bridge for us to ensure our son was getting the help he needed to stay on top of grade level standards, and we are forever appreciative of her skill, creativity, and expertise.

Sarah tutored our two sons 6 and 9 years old over the Summer. She helped our 9 year old deepen his comprehension and slow down when he reads. She also helped him sharpen his writing and spelling skills. He was not a fan of writing but with the tools Sarah thought him writing isn’t a chore.
