I am a business school professor of marketing and received an unsolicited email from Sentia Publishing asking to publish my course work that I’ve produced. When I researched them on-line and saw the negative reviews, I responded to the email pointing out that they should fix existing client relationships before they try to get new ones. I received series of nasty emails from their president, William England, that included the following:

“Given our apparently terrible reviews with students who want free books and hate us for being capitalistic, we understand why the reviews were negative. We don’t want you as an author. Good luck!”

I can’t imagine ever wanting to do business of any kind with a company that has this sort of leadership. This is what we teach our students not to do.

Sentia publishing is an excellent option for collegiate instructors, professors, etc to get their work published. They take personal care of their authors, walking them through the publishing steps and working with their bookstores and universities to meet schedules and standards. This is a high quality, but easy to navigate offering for publishing in the collegiate world.

This publishing company needs to be cancelled! They scam the consumers and are not responsive. Please save your money and time. I purchased an online textbook that is supposed to be available immediately upon purchase and I got it 4 days later only after calling and emailing this company non stop. I asked for a refund and they emailed me (days later) telling me to wait for another email so that the proper department can handle my refund. It’s been days and I have not received a call back, a refund or email. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. They scam the consumer.

Textbooks are expensive, but we found Sentia’s textbooks for my daughter to be about 20% less, but what is more important is the quality of the book. For her freshman organic chemistry, I spot checked a few of the chapters and found myself engrossed in learning a few things I didn’t know!

I needed a book for school so they directed me to this website to get the e-book. I purchased a very simple e-book for $90. That's supper expensive, but necessary for school, no problem. However the files to download the book have errors, and are not able to be downloaded. Many other students had the same issue. No matter how many times you call, there will not be an answer. Terrible customer service. So I and other students email. Yayy! a response!! Instructions are sent on how to download the book files. We follow the instructions to lead us to the book files. We download them. The files we downloaded were the instructions yet again. Instructions to download instructions. Terrible customer service, terrible pricing, and and definitely not a recommendation.
