Shari is a phonemenal acting coach. She knows good acting and will always push you to be your most authentic self. Since being in her master class and having done privates with her, I have noticed a huge improvement in my acting and my confidence. My fellow actors in the master class are incredibly talented. I am inspired to be at a studio with such talent. Shari also has great connections and often holds workshops with agents, managers, casting directors, writers, and etc. at the studio. I would absolutely recommend training with Shari if you want to be a competitive actor.

Whether you are taking Intro to Scene Study or, a more advanced class, Shari Shaw Studios is a great place to become a stellar actor/actress. Shari has different amazing coaches at the studio and classes on almost any day so it’s pretty much accessible to anyone. Recently moved to LA and through a close friend's recommendation, I jumped right into Shari's class, predominantly because of how affordable it was coupled with the glowing reviews from many top-tier current/former clients you can find on her website.
I certainly have not been disappointed since being in class; I have learned a lot about how to make the most impact in an on-camera audition, how to ensure your character is coming through and staying grounded and real from the moment action is called til cut, and how to hone a performance in for the nuances of on-camera work.
Being able to work off camera on a scene with critiques, direction, and positive reenforcement, then put it on camera and watch your work back to see how you're translating, etc., every class has been extremely beneficial to my development and understanding of on-camera acting.
Shari, herself, is a total spitfire and such a delight in class too. She always has the most energy in the room, which really helps put you in the mood to dig in and be excited about the work. 5 stars would recommend! <3
