We are Arcadia residents but this is our go-to library for years now. Such a warm, welcoming environment for me and my kids. Great children's programming (reading to dogs, art classes, bookmark contest, Minecraft Mondays, and more), wonderful selection of books/DVDs/ boardgames, and overall it's an amazing alternative to my kids being glued to their devices at home. It's always a treat! Thank you SM library!

Best library in the entire county. Warm, bright, welcoming, smells good. All the staff are happy and helpful. The hours are very accommodating. This is a prime example of everything a public library should be.

As of Feb 2024, the library does not have wifi. Do not come here if you need to use mobile electronic devices and choose another library. Librarians did not know if/when the temp library would have wifi, but hopefully it is installed sooner rather than later. Otherwise, the temporary location is small, but will do for the next 2 years. Looking forward to seeing the new library!

The most amazing library ever! I will miss the old cozy building that was nestled in nature, but I’m sure the reno is for the better.

The Sierra Madre Library is the best. It may be small but one can always find what they need. The staff there is so friendly and knowledgeable. If I ever win the lottery, the SM Library will definitely get a big chunk of money from me.
