A sci-fi jewel among the Sun Alley Shops, a book store managed by someone who actually looks like a cowboy. Mind the occupancy sign, keep your mask on and your hands clean, and inside you’ll find a treasure trove of sci-fi paperback classics, and more where they came from (apparently). One gets the sense that the cowboy started the shop because there was nothing else to do with his extensive personal library. He knows his stuff and supports the local desert writing community by hosting their magazines and producing unique works from public domain entities. If this sounds good to you, you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing experience with this shop. I reached out in advance to let the owner know what day I'd be around and he opened up the shop for me after setting aside some picks. He really knows his sci-fi and talks about it with love! So many great recommendations and sources to find more on my favourite writers. Cannot recommend this place enough if you love sci-fi.

This is a fantastic bookstore! They carry a nice variety of genres but their sci-fi is impressive. You can tell the shop is built on love of reading and adventure. They also carry some artwork and collectables in addition to books; there was a clever set of Star Trek pieces when I visited. It really feels like you're invited to into a personal collection.
